Bergamot is the signature here, the same citrus that gives Earl Grey its perfume, and it pulls MARTINI's non-alcoholic aperitivo toward floral rather than purely bitter. The balance between those two is what makes Vibrante work as a spritz base instead of a novelty. MARTINI has been making vermouth in Italy since 1863, and this bottle applies that house style without the alcohol, keeping the bitterness assertive enough that it does not vanish under mixers. The brand's own serve is 75 ml of Vibrante with 25 ml of fresh grapefruit juice and 50 ml of soda, built over ice in a wine glass with a grapefruit slice. Tonic works too if you want it simpler. Like any aperitivo it wants food alongside, and salty Italian snacks and small plates are the natural fit.
