This is NONA's aperitif already mixed and ready to open. The Belgian brand takes the same distilled botanical base as its Spritz bottle, blood orange and orange zest set against bitter gentian root and quassia, adds carbonated water and a quinine note for the tonic side, and cans it at 250ml so nobody has to measure anything. Color comes from extracts of black carrot, sweet potato and safflower rather than anything synthetic. It drinks slightly bitter and herbal, which is what separates a real spritz from sweet fizzy orange, and it holds up better cold than most ready-to-drink cans in this category. Straight from the can is fine. Over ice with an orange slice is better if you want it to look like a proper aperitivo. Per 100ml it lands at 33 calories and 7.6 grams of sugar. Gluten free, made entirely in Belgium, sold in four packs.
