Cuba Libre

The name comes from the battle cry of the Cuban Liberation Army, which is a lot of history for what is fundamentally rum and cola. Free AF keeps the shape and drops the rum. Cola sweetness, lime through the middle, and enough dryness at the end that it never collapses into a soft drink. Afterglow is in this one too, the brand's plant-based New Zealand ingredient that supplies warmth and a slight tingle where the alcohol used to be. Pour it over a full glass of ice with a slice of lemon or lime and a few fresh mint leaves, which is the brand's own serve and lifts it considerably. This is a highball, so treat it like one.
