Hella Cocktail Co. is a New York bitters house that started in a Brooklyn kitchen in 2011 and now sits on grocery shelves across the US. Alongside its cocktail bitters and mixers it makes Bitters & Soda, a canned sparkling non-alcoholic aperitif built on a gentian tincture cultivated in the south of France plus its own aromatic bitters blend of allspice, black peppercorn, caraway, cinnamon, clove, rose hips, angelica root, star anise and chamomile. The cans are unsweetened, zero sugar and 5 to 10 calories, and are the only part of the range meant to be drunk straight rather than mixed into a cocktail.
