Read the ingredient list and something jumps out. Jalisco 55 is built on the same non-alcoholic oak distillate that makes Kentucky 74, with agave syrup and natural flavors steering it toward tequila. That wood is why Spiritless calls it reposado style rather than blanco. The nose gives sweet agave, zesty citrus, fresh mint and a touch of cinnamon, while the palate leans into honey, spicy oak, vanilla and a little pepper. On paper it's very light. Ten calories and 2 grams of sugar per 2oz pour, with roughly 12 pours in the 700ml bottle. Margaritas and palomas are the intended uses, and it's the same base Spiritless puts in its canned margarita. Blending it one to one with real tequila is the brand's own suggestion for anyone cutting back rather than quitting. Worth noting that it has gotten hard to find and isn't currently listed on the Spiritless site, so check stock before planning around it.
