Purple Lune

Purple Lune belongs to De Soi's Reserve line, the label the brand puts on its most concentrated releases, and it is the richest thing they make. Black currant and tart cherry lead, vanilla rounds out the back, and the body is noticeably fuller and more layered than the rest of the range. It drinks closer to a dark fruit aperitif than a spritz base. The brand was co-founded by Katy Perry and Morgan McLachlan, and the house style runs botanical, bittersweet and non-alcoholic. Because this one is denser, it takes dilution well. Pour it over a large cube, or stretch it with soda if you want it lighter, and give it an orange peel. It suits a nightcap more than an afternoon, and it holds its own next to dark chocolate or a cheese board.
