Zero Paloma

Palomas are usually the drink you make when you have run out of patience for shaking margaritas, so a canned version makes sense. This one is a quarter Sobrii 0-Tequila with sparkling pink grapefruit doing the rest. Fresh grapefruit leads, with lime and the earthy note of agave sitting behind it, then juicy citrus and crisp bubbles meet a touch of salt that rounds the whole thing out. It finishes light, with a clean citrus snap and a little agave hanging around. There are no calories, no sugar, no carbs and no preservatives in it, and it is made in Canada. It picked up bronze at the 2022 LA Spirits Awards. Serve it very cold over ice with a grapefruit wedge, and salt the rim if you want to close the gap entirely.
