Being zero proof, it also does something a liqueur cannot: it adds the flavor of sweetness without adding sugar. There is none in the bottle, along with no carbs and no calories, because the whole thing is built from spring water and natural flavoring rather than a distilled and sweetened base. The warmth comes from a food grade compound the company calls its W.A.R.M. Molecule. Measure it against honey whiskey one to one and nothing in the recipe needs to change.
