Pure Hibiscus

Pure Hibiscus is built for the bitter end of the drinks list, not for sipping neat. Crossip macerates raw botanicals rather than blending concentrated flavourings, and the ingredient list reads like an amaro recipe: hibiscus, cubeb, cranberry, rhubarb, bergamot, ginger, clove, eucalyptus, gentian, wormwood and cayenne. The arc is the interesting part. It opens bright and floral, hibiscus and rhubarb up front, then turns sharply into herbal bitterness before wormwood and cayenne stretch the finish out far longer than you expect from a bottle with no alcohol in it. That structure is exactly why it holds its shape in a zero proof Negroni or a spritz, where a softer alt-spirit simply vanishes under the mixer. A 50cl bottle gives you twenty 25ml pours at 44 calories each and under half a gram of sugar.
