Mojito

Two mints go into this one, spearmint and peppermint, infused together so the mint comes through without the bitterness a single heavy dose tends to bring. Lime peels join the infusion just before distilling, which is what produces the fresh aromatic top note rather than a candied lime flavor. Natural flavorings round it out to suggest the rum in the original. Cans are 355ml, twelve to a case, gluten free, and under 0.5% alcohol by volume. This is Clever's best seller and the base the brand builds its other mojito variants from. Serve it straight out of the fridge over crushed ice with a mint sprig, and skip the sugar you would normally muddle in, because it does not need it. It won a Gold tasting medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Silver at the Global Low and No Masters in 2024.
