Joker Sapiir Lime Soda

Desert limes from Coober Pedy do the work here, which is a genuinely Australian way to build a vodka lime soda. Brunswick Aces canned its Joker blend with soda and left it at that, and this is the only can in the range carrying no sugar at all. The result is sharp, clean and citrus forward rather than sweet, closer to a squeezed lime over ice than a flavoured seltzer. It comes both ways, 0.0% as a sapiir and 8% ABV with the alcohol, which is the whole point of how this Melbourne distillery works. Every botanical is prepared and distilled separately before blending, so the two versions read as the same drink. Sold in four packs. Serve it cold, straight from the can or over ice with a wedge of lime.
