Mint, cucumber and rosemary give this bottle its character, which puts it closer to a contemporary garden gin than to a classic juniper style. It reads herbaceous and cooling with a citrus edge, and it is the Lumette to reach for when you want a drink that tastes green and alive rather than dry and austere. Spritzes suit it, mojitos suit it even better, and it holds its own with plain soda and a handful of fresh herbs thrown in. Like the rest of the range it is distilled on Vancouver Island by the Sheringham Distillery team using traditional still methods, with real aromatics rather than imitation flavourings, which is why any color in the bottle traces back to botanical essential oils. No detectable alcohol, certified gluten free, and sold in 375ml or 750ml.
