Alcohol Free Sparkling White

Müller-Thurgau does most of the work here. It is an early-ripening German crossing with plenty of aromatic lift, which matters a lot when there is no alcohol around to carry aroma for you. Wild Idol harvests and presses the fruit the way any winery would, then holds the juice cold for up to twelve months so fermentation never starts and nothing has to be stripped out afterward. The pour is pale straw under a soft, fine bead. Lime zest and crisp apple open it, jasmine and orange blossom fill in behind, and white peach and honeyed melon round out a finish that turns green and fresh again at the end. No added sugar, about 24 calories per 100ml. The 750ml bottle is vegan, gluten free and Halal certified, and it took silver at the 2023 World Alcohol-Free Awards. Serve it as cold as you would any sparkling wine.
