Built for the Dark and Stormy, and honest about it. Dark tropical pineapple leads, then ginger and kola nut bring the warmth that makes a spiced rum taste like a spiced rum, with coconut, vanilla and lime rounding the edges. It goes through the same production as the rest of Caleño's core range, with botanicals steam distilled in stainless steel drums for 48 hours and then matured for two weeks. The Independent described it as rich and warming, full of ginger, kola nut, peppercorn and cardamom held together by coconut and cocoa. Easiest serve is 50ml over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime and ginger ale poured over the top. The brand is a certified B Corp inspired by its founder's Colombian roots, and the drink is zero sugar, vegan and gluten free.
