Tempranillo grown in La Mancha, made into a rosé, then dealcoholized to 0.0% with the bubbles carried through. Red fruit runs the length of it, the acidity stays harmonious rather than sharp, and there is even a trace of tannin, which is unusual in a sparkling rosé at this alcohol level and gives the wine something to stand on. Twenty-two calories per 100ml is the number Vinada leads with, and it is a fair one for anyone counting. Vegan, and part of the Dutch producer's range since 2018. The pairing list runs further than most zero-proof wines can honestly support, with steak tartare, duck liver mousse and chocolate named alongside the usual salads and aperitif service. That faint tannin is what makes the richer end of that list work. Serve it cold in a white wine glass, and expect dry rather than the sweetness a pink bubbly usually implies.
