Albarino is Galicia's signature white, and Hollow Leg's version is vinified there before the alcohol comes out. Expect a gentle, fresh green apple aroma, then a palate that is bright, dry and crunchy, finishing on elderflower and a flash of apple drop. This is not a reconstituted grape drink. The base is real wine, de-alcoholised, with grape extract and natural flavour rounding it out and no added sugar. The numbers reflect that. Per 100ml you are looking at about 4 calories and 0.17g of sugar, so a normal 150ml pour lands near 6 calories. Serve it cold, around 8 to 10C, and treat it the way you would the alcoholic original, alongside shellfish, grilled fish or anything off a summer table. Sulphites are present, as with any wine. The bottle sits in Hollow Leg's still range next to the Cabernet Sauvignon.
