Bio Chardonnay

Organic from the vineyard up, meaning grapes grown without pesticides, synthetic fertiliser or anything genetically modified, then dealcoholised the way Carl Jung has done it since Dr. Carl Jung patented the process more than a century ago. Chardonnay carries weight without losing finesse, and that shows here as citrus, green apple and ripe peach over a lively acidity, with a texture the winery describes as almost silky. The fruit is Spanish and a 100ml glass is roughly 21 calories. Serve it at 6 to 8 degrees. This is the bottle in the Bio range for anyone who wants a white with actual body rather than a flavoured spritzer, and it has enough of it for roast chicken or a creamy pasta.
