Serve this at 16 to 18°C in a Bordeaux glass, which tells you most of what you need to know. It's the biggest bottle in the range, built on Grenache with plum and Mediterranean herbs, and the tannins are genuinely expressive rather than a polite suggestion of structure. The Gault & Millau Henris Edition panel rated it Hervorragend in March 2024, finding an earthy opening with walnut, eucalyptus, Darjeeling and sage underneath, textured and juicy on the palate without being filling. That last part matters for a drink carrying under 3 grams of sugar per 100ml. The 36 refers to the degrees at which the base wine was dealcoholized by vacuum distillation, the naming convention across the whole GRAD°WANDERUNG line. Pair it with strongly spiced food, dark sauces, or aged hard cheese. Under 0.5% alcohol, vegan, 13.8 calories per 100ml.
