Weight is the hard part in alcohol free red, and this is the bottle in Eisberg's Signature range built to carry some. Plum and blackberry come through thick, with a lush, velvety texture behind them instead of the thin finish that trips up a lot of zero proof reds. It starts as real Merlot and goes through vacuum distillation, where lowering the boiling point lets the alcohol evaporate at roughly 32°C so the aroma compounds mostly stay put. The result is 0.0% ABV, vegan, and about 29 calories in a 125ml pour, with 5g of sugar per 100ml. Eisberg points it at grilled and charred meat, and its own recipe file leans the same way with sausage hotpot and slow cooked beef. Chill it to 5 to 7°C if you want it tight and fresh, or drink it at room temperature for a rounder read. Sold in a 750ml bottle.
