Certification is the difference here. The grapes are farmed ecologically, without pesticides or artificial chemicals, and the finished wine is de-alcoholised to 0.0% like the rest of the Lussory range. In the glass it shows fresh white fruit and citrus with a light floral lift, natural acidity holding it together, and a body that stays deliberately light. That makes it a food wine more than a sipper. Fish, shellfish, salads and cold tapas all work, and it takes a hard chill without going dumb. Lussory is made in Spain by Dismark Products in Santiago de Compostela, and the organic bottles sit alongside the Premium line rather than replacing it. Chardonnay is one of six varieties in the range, next to Merlot, Tempranillo, Rose, Airen and the sparkling Brut.
