Feinherb is a German term for a wine that sits off dry, sweeter than trocken but nowhere near dessert territory, and that balance is the point of this bottle. The acidity Riesling is known for is all still here, cut against a little residual sweetness so neither side wins outright. Citrus and green apple lead the aromatics, with the structure and mineral edge that makes Riesling worth drinking in the first place. Base wine comes from EU vineyards, gets made conventionally, then loses its alcohol through the process the Jung family patented in Rüdesheim more than a hundred years ago. At roughly 18 calories per 100ml glass it is among the lightest wines in the range. Serve it properly cold. If you drink Riesling and have been let down by alcohol free whites, this is the bottle built for you.
